AMERICAN BAPTIST WOMEN'S MINISTRIES
We have an active ABWM group whose emphasis is support of American Baptist missions and our church. The ABWM meets monthly, usually on the first Tuesday afternoon of the month. Check the church calendar for exact meeting times. The ABWM welcomes all women and girls of the church.
DEACON MINISTRY
Twelve men are elected to serve three year terms on our Deacon Ministry team, giving guidance to the spiritual matters of the church. Areas of service include communion, baptism, worship, shepherding, pastoral support, and mission awareness.
DEACONESS MINISTRY
Twelve women are elected to serve three year terms on our Deaconess Ministry team. They assist the Pastor and Deacons in baptisms and communion services, and other areas of ministry including spiritual support for women of the church, funeral dinners, and oversight of the church kitchen.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
There are several opportunities to join a small group Bible study during the 9:30 hour on Sunday mornings:

WEDNESDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY
Each Wednesday evening at 6:00, Pastor Jason leads a prayer time and an adult Bible study
FBC Kids are welcome at dinner, then bible study and fun time starts at 6:00pm
FBC students are welcome at dinner, then some fellowship time to follow with bible study starting at 6:30pm.
Wednesday evenings begin with a meal at 5:30 pm provided by one of our in church ministry teams, (small donations taken to help cover meal cost)
ASSISTED LIVING MINISTRY
Each Sunday we provide spiritual leadership for a worship service for Autumn Trace Senior Community during the Sunday School hour. Our Pastor also provides a weekly Bible Study for the residents.
TRUSTEES MINISTRY
Twelve members of the congregation are elected to serve three year terms as Trustees of the church. They have general charge of the regular business interests of the church, including maintenance of church property and legal matters.
UNIFIED BOARD
Nine persons, representing the various ministries and the church at-large, comprise the Unified Board. The Pastor serves as moderator of the Board. Responsibilities of the Board include general oversight of the church's ministry and goals, communication between the various ministries, preparation of the annual budget, and approval of staff employment agreements.

FBC Bedford’s Youth Group exists see young people with a heart that wants nothing less than to completely commit their entire life to Jesus Christ as discipled and equipped young adults. The vision is for the students to be gospel-oriented leaders of faith in their community.

CHOIR is a mixed vocal ensemble that praises God with a variety of musical styles and genre. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 and are open to youth and adults that enjoy making a “joyful noise”
The WORSHIP TEAM leads the more contemporary parts of our musical worship. They typically rehearse on Wednesday’s at 5:30 pm
SPIRIT SINGERS are a small a cappella vocal group that provides special music for worship services and special events. It usually rehearses at 7:00 PM on Wed.
The HANDBELL ENSEMBLE meets seasonally primarily at Christmas and Easter. It typically rehearses on Wednesday at 6:30
