AMERICAN BAPTIST WOMEN'S MINISTRIES
We have an active ABWM group whose emphasis is support of American Baptist missions and our church. The ABWM meets monthly, usually on the first Tuesday afternoon of the month. Check the church calendar for exact meeting times. The ABWM welcomes all women and girls of the church.
AMERICAN BAPTIST MEN
Several of our men participate in the quarterly Men's Brother-hood meeting of the Bedford Baptist Association. Check the church calendar for exact meeting dates and location.
Twelve men are elected to serve three year terms on our Deacon Ministry team, giving guidance to the spiritual matters of the church. Areas of service include communion, baptism, worship, shepherding, pastoral support, and mission awareness.
Twelve women are elected to serve three year terms on our Deaconess Ministry team. They assist the Pastor and Deacons in baptisms and communion services, and other areas of ministry including spiritual support for women of the church, funeral dinners, and oversight of the church kitchen.

NURSING HOME MINISTRY
Church members volunteer to provide leadership for worship services at the White River Lodge and Westview Nursing Home during the Sunday School hour.
WEDNESDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY
Each Wednesday evening at 6:30, the Pastor teaches a Bible lesson, usually based on a Biblical passage or theme.
Twelve members of the congregation are elected to serve three year terms as Trustees of the church. They have general charge of the regular business interests of the church, including maintenance of church property and legal matters.
Nine persons, representing the various ministries and the church at-large, comprise the Unified Board. The Pastor serves as moderator of the Board. Responsibilities of the Board include general oversight of the church's ministry and goals, communication between the various ministries, preparation of the annual budget, and approval of staff employment agreements.
